## A family business

Once a small family business, today we are a medium-sized company with around 105 employees offering a working atmosphere that remains friendly and enjoyable, short decision-making processes and regional value creation.

## HILO, Holzindustrie Losheim

			
As an owner-managed, medium-sized family business, we draw on decades of experience in the field of timber products. We are based in the densely forested region along the German-Belgian border, supplying wholesalers and the wood processing industry with our [timber products from domestic coniferous woods](/products/) since 1975.

We focus on quality and flexibility. In addition, our company stands for dependable supplies to our customers. Whether spruce, Douglas fir or wood for packaging, we source our wood exclusively from sustainable and controlled forestry.
