Our **wood pellets** stand for maximum efficiency, excellent quality and responsible production. With state-of-the-art technology and raw materials sourced from the region, HILO offers a reliable and environmentally friendly heating solution for private households and industry alike.

## High-quality production, state-of-the-art technology

			
We produce up to 350 tonnes of premium pellets every day in our highly automated plant, which adds up to around 120,000 tonnes per year.

The entire manufacturing process is subject to strict controls:

- continuous measurement of dust content, density, moisture and ash content
- Only products that meet the highest quality standards leave our factory
- [Certified to ENplus A1](/company/certifications/), the highest European standard for wood pellets

This allows us to guarantee consistently high combustion performance and trouble-free heating operation.

## Sustainable and regional pellets

			
Our pellets are made from **100% natural softwood** sourced from [PEFC-certified forests in the Eifel and Ardennes regions](/company/certifications/) and are produced without any additives.

All production takes place on site, with by-products from the sawmill being intelligently recycled.

Short transport routes, resource-saving production and complete traceability ensure an environmentally friendly fuel with an outstanding carbon footprint.
